Sending a big THANK YOU to Ms. Alfreda Cook (pictured, 5th grade Math) and Ms. Mimi Wilson (not pictured, High School Health Science) in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. They weren’t my teachers, but they were my classmates from the amazing HHS Class of 1987. Both now teach and give back to Hattiesburg Public Schools, so I want to thank them for focusing their talent, time, expertise, and heart to lift up our hometown scholars. You’re making a difference, everyday, and especially during this pandemic.

Thank you for all you do! – Jeanne McCarty
