Congratulations to Ms. Jenny Liu! Our Instructional Coaches in Georgia love your passion and dedication to your craft and have named you our Georgia Teacher of the Year!

At Norton Park Elementary in Cobb County Schools, they strive for achievement through collaboration. They believe that learning should be an adventure and is paramount in understanding the world and the possibilities for change. Michelle Curry, the school’s principal, supports students and teachers by creating a school culture where everyone works collaboratively to build a framework of understanding.

Norton Park’s partnership with Out Teach supports these goals, providing teachers the opportunity to offer something exciting and new to their students, especially during a difficult school year.  Beyond these benefits, Jenny Liu is using the outdoors to build a community of lifelong learners. Ms. Liu radiates a passion for learning and that excitement is reflected in her instructional practices. Her 3rd-grade students thrive on her zest and dedication to outdoor experiential instruction. She too is a lifelong learner and seeks out opportunities to shift her teaching practices to be more impactful and share those ideas with her peers. Those around Ms. Liu are inspired and in awe of her commitment to outdoor learning and making the learning experience more meaningful and authentic for her students.

Please join us in thanking Ms. Liu for inspiring her students, her fellow teachers, and all of us here at Out Teach!
